Submission Policy and Process
1. Eligibility for Submission

Only papers that have been presented at the International Music and Performing Arts Conference (IMPAC) are eligible for publication in IMPAC Proceedings.

Submissions must align with the conference’s annual theme and fall within the journal’s Aims and Scope.
2. Originality and Exclusivity

Manuscripts must represent original, unpublished work.

Submissions currently under consideration by other journals, proceedings, or books will not be accepted.

Authors must declare that their work has not been published elsewhere and is not under simultaneous review.
3. Language
-
Submissions are accepted in English or Bahasa Melayu.

For manuscripts written in Bahasa Melayu, the title, abstract, and keywords must also be provided in English to ensure international discoverability.
4. Submission Format

Manuscripts must be prepared according to the Author Guidelines.

All submissions must be made in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. A PDF may be provided as a supporting file.

Authors must ensure that figures, tables, and supplementary materials are properly prepared and permissions secured prior to submission.
5. Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the IMPAC Proceedings submission system (link: Make A Submission).

Authors should ensure that the following are included at the time of submission:

Completed manuscript (in Word format).

Abstract (150–250 words) and 3–5 keywords.

Author details, including full name, institutional affiliation, and email address.
-
Declaration of originality and conflict of interest statement.

6. Deadlines
-
The submission deadline is set by the conference organising committee and announced in the Call for Papers.

Late submissions will not be considered unless approved by the Editorial Board.
7. Confirmation of Submission

Upon successful submission, authors will receive an acknowledgment email confirming receipt of their manuscript.

All manuscripts will undergo an initial editorial screening before being sent for peer review.
