The Proceedings of the International Music and Performing Arts Conference (IMPAC Proceedings) respects the privacy of all users and is committed to protecting the personal information of authors, reviewers, editors, and visitors in accordance with applicable data protection laws and international best practices.

The names, email addresses, and institutional details entered on the IMPAC Proceedings website are used exclusively for editorial, peer review, and publication purposes. This includes communication with authors, reviewers, and editors, as well as the registration of metadata for indexing, citation, and DOI assignment.

Personal information will not be used for any other purpose and will never be shared with third parties, except as required by law or for metadata and indexing services (such as Crossref) to ensure discoverability of published content.

The IMPAC Proceedings complies with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010 (Malaysia) and aligns with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personal data is stored securely on the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) servers and is accessible only to authorised editorial staff involved in publication operations.
