Conference Paper Submission Policy

The Proceedings of the International Music and Performing Arts Conference (IMPAC Proceedings) publishes only papers that have been presented at the International Music and Performing Arts Conference (IMPAC). This ensures that all published content reflects the academic and creative work shared within the conference community.

1. Eligibility for Submission

  • Manuscripts must be based on work presented at IMPAC in oral, poster, lecture-demonstration, or performance-presentation formats.

  • Submissions must fall within the scope of the conference, covering music, theatre, dance, and related performing arts fields.

2. Originality

  • Submitted papers must represent original and unpublished work.

  • Simultaneous submission to other journals, proceedings, or books is not permitted.

  • Authors must declare that the submission is not under review elsewhere at the time of submission.

3. Quality and Standards

  • Papers must meet standards of originality, scholarly contribution, and clarity in writing.

  • Submissions are subject to peer review and editorial evaluation prior to acceptance.

  • The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet academic quality or relevance requirements.

4. Formatting and Length

  • Authors must follow the submission guidelines provided in the conference call for papers and on the proceedings website.

  • Papers must conform to the required length, formatting, and referencing style (APA 7th edition, unless otherwise specified).

5. Ethical Responsibilities

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that submissions respect ethical standards in research, including participant consent, cultural sensitivity, and proper citation of sources.

  • Any use of third-party materials (e.g., images, music, or recordings) must have appropriate permissions.
